JAMES Harris will captain Oxford University in tonight’s clash with Leicester at Iffley Road (7.15), writes Ed Mezzetti The openside flanker fills in for regular skipper John Carter, who ruled himself out due to his duties as his brother’s best man preventing him from attending the final training session.
Oxford’s line-up to take on what is expected to be a young Leicester side features just two Blues – scrum half Sam Egerton and loose-head prop Hamish Macdonald.
With this being the Dark Blues’ third match in ten days, they have again rotated their squad and will have used the majority of their Varsity Match contenders by the end of tonight.
