WANTAGE'S Steven Liquorish is still in with a chance of the title as the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge GB season comes to a televised climax at Silverstone this weekend.
The final two rounds of this 12-race championship for Carrera Cup cars put the drivers in action on the BTCC-supporting programme.
Liquorish (Team Parker Racing), who has claimed six podiums in 2012, is the only driver who can stop championship leader James Birch from being crowned champion.
Birch (GT Marques), has a 22-point lead and two more podiums would clinch the title.
He said: “I just need to finish and beat Steve.”
Liquorish said: “Anything can happen yet in the last two. It’s going to be very tight on the National circuit.”
Coverage of round 12 will be shown on ITV4, in a programme which runs from 11am to 6pm.
