OXFORD Harlequins suffered a 69-8 defeat at promoted Brixham, with poor tackling in the backs again their downfall.
Quins conceded seven tries in a disastrous first half, but at least showed some character after that.
Brixham wing Kyle Brown went over for their first try on six minutes, while Quins then had centre Graham Sage carried off with a knee injury.
Visiting fly half Alex Stevenson reduced the arrears with a penalty, but a yellow card for lock Eipe Kaleman began a nightmare period for Quins.
Alun Glanville (2), Jarryd Harris, Tom McLean, Ben Lovell and Dylan Flashman all scored for Brixham, fly half Lovell converting three for a 41-3 half-time lead.
Brixham had lock Luke Maggs yellow-carded on 55 minutes, but scored again through Matt Clarke, Lovell converting.
Quick hands allowed No 8 Alex Powell to speed over on the right for Quins.
But Brixham bagged tries through Clarke (2) and McLean, Lovell converting all three, to complete Quins’ misery.
