MALCOLM Rose set a new course record on way to claiming victory in the final race of the Summer Series in the Cotswolds.
The Oxonian rider came home in 24mins 25secs to claim his second victory of the season.
Pete Oliver was just four seconds behind, with Eamonn Deeley back in third, a further 37 seconds adrift.
Oxonian’s Jem Line was the fastest lady, finishing almost three minutes ahead of her nearest rival, clubmate Ingrid Anson.
RESULT
Men: 1 M Rose (Oxonian) 24.25, 2 P Oliver (Fairly United) 24.29, 3 E Deeley (Mid Oxon) 25.06.
Ladies: 1 J Line (Oxonian) 31.03, 2 I Anson (Oxonian) 33.55.
