DIDCOT Town goalkeeper Marcus Belloli is set to return between the sticks for tonight’s Evo-Stik Southern League Division 1 South & West trip to highly-fancied Sholing.
Belloli was taken to hospital at half-time after being caught in the face by Tom Knighton in the 2-0 home win against Yate, for which the striker was red-carded.
“I think if the studs had caught him full in the face he would be out for a couple of weeks,” said boss Dave Mudge.
“But because they went across his face the damage was less severe.
“They glued the wound and hopefully he will be available tonight. Touch wood, he will be okay.”
Didcot welcome back Lee Henderson from a ban, though Elliott Osborne-Ricketts is still suspended.
Jon Beames will deputise again if Belloli fails to make it.
Didcot Tn: from Belloli, Beames, Heapy, Owens, Pierson, Thomas, L Williams, Elkins, Bowles, Clark, Haysham, M Williams, Beames, Tappin, A Stanley, Quegan, Harris.
