Horspath 2nd went top of Cherwell League Division 4 after hammering Hanborough while morning leaders Cublington saw their match washed out.

Andy Cummings claimed 6-34, although Matt Neilson (38) and Dave Burgess (35) still managed to take Hanborough to a respectable score of 175 all out from 47.5 overs.

Horspath then wasted no time in reaching 178-3 from 40.5 as Stephen Green smashed an unbeaten 77.

Great & Little Tew 2nd made the most of Cublington’s inactivity by beating Leighton Buzzard Town 2nd .

Town’s 147-8 came from 47 overs and featured 37 by Richard Jenner and 3-28 from Ian Bryan.

Tew replied with 149-4 from 35.3 overs, Josh Garrett hitting 39.

Stokenchurc h are up to fourth after they walloped Wallingford by 186 runs.

First Chris Sears (70), Paul Maddock (52) and Joe Brown (44) took the home side to an imposing 260 all out, while Mark Carey took 4-53.

Then Ryan Gurton took 6-29 and Maddock 4-42 as the visitors were out for 74.
