STEVE Naylor set a 5,000m personal best in the BMC Grand Prix at Solihull.
The Woodstock-based athlete clocked 14mins 38.99secs to finish second in the C race.
Although running for first-claim club Bedford & County, Naylor’s time was a Woodstock Harriers record.
He said: “I was very pleased with the race.”
