OXFORD Saints clinched the Division 2 West Conference title, and booked their place in the play-off quarter-finals after winning 21-12 at Gloucester Centurions.
Saints will face Milton Keynes Pathfinders in the last eight on August 4 or 5, but they still have their final regular season match against Bournemouth Bobcats on Saturday.
Despite missing five regular starters, the visitors raced into a 21-0 half-time lead, but had to withstand a Gloucester fightback.
Mike Oluwole forced his way over from one yard for Saints’ first touchdown, with fellow running back Harry Carr bagging two more from distance. Jonny Dover kicked the extra point each time.
Shaun Griffin and Andrew Newiss replied with Gloucester touchdowns.
