CROPREDY climbed to the top by beating Shipton-under-Wychwood 2nd in a thriller.
Shipton at posted 181-5 thanks to Shane Duff (44) and Ian Lewis (41), while Adam Goodway wheeled away for 19 overs to take 3-59.
Tom King (3-45) and Anthony Prior-Wandesforde (3-44) kept Shipton in the game, but Ed Somerton (62) and Joe Fox (39) counter-attacked and Cropredy reached 182-9 off the penultimate ball of the final over.

Ben Keeping took 8-58 for Bledlow Ridge against Bicester & North Oxford.
But Richard Simpson hit 84 in Bicester’s 169 all out and then claimed 4-48 as Ridge were restricted to 162-9, of which Conor Taylor contributed 50.

Witney Mills’ Pete Claridge hit 54 as his side reached 195-7 at Kingston Bagpuize.
He was then eclipsed by Robbie Keates (57) as Kingston came up just short on 183-7 despite Dave Ward’s 38. Chaminda Wimalarathana took 3-42.

Will Briggs (50) helped Banbury 3rd reach 197-9 at Dinton 2nd, for whom Faisal Ali (4-73) and Archie Hammond (3-25) bowled well.
Ashley Blanchard then took 4-60 as Dinton were dismissed for 175 despite Ali’s 30.

Strugglers Chearsley were rolled over for 103 at home to Bledlow Village.
Adam Mould then hit a classy 67 not out as Bledlow eased to 104-3 from 29.4 overs.
