CHERWELL LEAGUE
Divisions 6-10
DIDCOT 3rd pipped Bledlow Village 3rd by ten runs in an extraordinary Division 8 clash.
The visitors made just 80, with Travis Green hitting 40 as Roger Downes took 4-10 and Andy Wagerfield 3-21.
But Didcot then bowled even better to dismiss Bledlow for 70.
Jonathan Meardon claimed 4-33 and Elliot Matthews 3-6 to lead the way in a thriller.
Great & Little Tew 3rd also managed to defend a low score in Division 7.
Tew made 122-9 against Abingdon Vale 3rd , thanks largely to Jordan Garrett’s 57 not out.
Adrian White took 6-40 to leave Vale well placed, but his batsmen could not back him up and they crumbled to 85 all out.
Will Woodward took 3-10.
Didcot 2nd’s bowlers must have felt like the England attack at The Oval during their Division 6 clash with Great Brickhill 2nd .
They picked up just one wicket as Anton De Beer (90no) and Adam Harwood (85no) fired Brickhill to 229-1.
Didcot were then all out for 105.
