Garsington edged out Hook Norton by one wicket in a thrilling Division 1 encounter which kept them clear at the top of the OCA League.
Gersh Whiteman claimed 4-30 as Hook Norton were bowled out for 169, but while Mohammed Sarfraz scored 43 in Garsington’s reply, they lost regular wickets to Tom Ducker (4-33) and Dan White (4-45) before sneaking home at 171-9.
Oxenford maintained their title challenge by beating Charlbury by five runs.
Leigh Bastable hit 38 in Oxenford’s 111 all out, before Aaron Hirtenstein captured 4-21 in Charlbury’s 106.
Westbury eased past Minster Lovell by 93 runs.
Tom Gurney top-scored with 93 in Westbury’s 204-8, then Tom Young (4-27) and Rupert Rowling (3-38) combined to dismiss visitors Minster for 111.
Mursaleen Sadiqi (70) and Shoaib Ahmed (61) helped East Oxford to a formidable 296-9 at Broughton & North Newington.
Sadiqi claimed 4-29 as Broughton replied with 171.
In Division 2, Chadlington consolidated their lead at the top as they defeated Watlington by 74 runs.
Mark Lambert (66) led Chad-lington to 184-7, and then Matt Bunney took 5-30 to dismiss Watlington for 110.
East & West Hendred beat Oxford Caribbean by 37 runs.
Martin Turnbull’s bowling was the decisive factor, taking 7-47, including the hat-trick as Caribbean were all out for 101 chasing Hendred’s 138.
A superb spell of 6-19 from Matt Mead and 4-41 from Carl Needham set up Marsh Gibbon’s four-wicket win over Tetsworth.
Chasing Tetsworth’s 92 all out, 15-year-old Charlie Shipperley scored 21 to help Marsh Gibbon across the line.
Omar Hussain was the star as Radley beat Combe by 65 runs in Division 3.
Hussain took 6-20 from 12 overs in Combe’s 54 all out, after Radley had been dismissed for 119.
Sam Evans (57) and Dave Symes (50no) helped Chipping Norton to 204-6 and a 134-run victory at West Ilsley.
In Division 4, Kennington finally recorded a victory at the 11th time of asking with a five-wicket win over W A superb spell of 8-26 in 10.2 overs from James Snow helped Swinbrook to a 109-run victory over Stanton Harcourt in Division 5.
Andrew Wingfield Digby had top-scored with 44 in Swinbrook’s 193-7, before Snow dismissed Stanton for 84.
Kilkenny’s Darren Gordon claimed 7-14 from 12 overs to help his side to an 81-run win at Uffington.
The home side were shot out for 84, after Duncan Macdonald had hit 96 in Kilkenny’s 165-9.
Garsington 2nd stayed on top with a four-wicket win at West Witney. Tariq Faqir scored 67 not out as they chased home West Witney’s 146-8.
Jimmy Ewers scored 67 and Jack Desmond 58 to help Division 6 leaders Kidlington to a five-wicket win against Shriv-enham 2nd.
Earlier, Drew McHenry had scored 63 not out in Shrivenham’s 210-8.
Kings Sutton fell to a 33-run defeat at Marcham.
Dan Pitcher top-scored with 59 in Marcham’s 118-8, before Stuart Armstrong captured 5-38 and Richard Wightman 4-23 as Kings Sutton were shot out for 85.
Minster Lovell 2nd beat Westbury 2nd by 19 runs.
Neil Spearman’s 53 led Minster to 173-8, and then Lyndsay Halliwell claimed 4-42 in Westbury’s 154 all out.
Division 7 leaders Uffington 2nd suffered their first defeat, going down by six wickets at Hook Norton 2nd.
Matt Booker took 4-31 in Uffington’s 96 all out.
Faringdon 2nd raced to a ten-wicket home win against Sunningwell.
After dismissing their visitors for 66, Alex Robinshaw (4-9), Ian Oglesby scored 36 not out as Faringdon reached 70-0. Arunvinay Prabakaran hit 95 not out in Oxenford 2nd’s 114-run win over Chalgrove.
Oxenford posted 185-7, then Richard Rowley claimed 6-22 in Chalgrove’s 71 all out.
Tommy Cannon took a hat-trick in his 4-20 as Division 8 leaders Steventon beat Ducklington by nine wickets.
The visitors were dismissed for 117, before Steve Thompson (53no) saw Steventon to 119-1.
Division 9 leaders Chipping Norton 2nd crashed to a 13-run home defeat against Kidlington 2nd.
They were skittled out for 66 as Steve Litten claimed 6-33 after Kidlington had earlier been dismissed for only 79.
Charlbury 3rd rattled up a massive 349-9 to crush Kennington 2nd by 285 runs.
In Division 10, Wolvercote 2nd stretched their lead at the top with a 110-run victory over Sunningwell 2nd.Graham Rowley claimed 5-34 in Wootton’s 125 all out, before 54 from Sam Robins led Kennington to 126-5.
Meanwhile, Garsington booked their place in the last four of the Airey Cup with a 59-run victory over Oxenford.
Keith Parsler hit 53 in Garsington’s 177, before Asif Shah took 5-26 as Oxenford were bowled out for 117.
