A torrential storm ended Shipton-under-Wychwood’s hopes of picking up useful points at home to bottom club Farnham Royal in Division 2 West on Saturday.
Shipton, who were put in, progressed to 154-4 from 43 overs when the rain washed out play, which means they drop into the bottom two.
Skipper Simon Hole was batting serenely with 48 not out from 67 balls.
Earlier, opener Charlie Brain had made a patient 37, with former Kidlington player Duncan Bradshaw having picked up three wickets.
