WITNEY Mills’ left-arm seamer Pierre Lefort took 4-27 and veteran off spinner Steve Kelly claimed 3-17 as Chearsley slumped to 83 all out.

Earlier Will Sterio had played another sound innings, top scoring with 45 in Mills’ 144-6, while Ejaz Ahmed took 4-42.

Witney stay bottom despite securing their first win.

Asif Hussain hammered an outstanding 155 not out as Banbury 3rd amassed 280-3 at Shipton-under-Wychwood 2nd.

Craig Wood hit 56 in reply, but the match was rained off with Shipton on 110-2 after 20 overs.

Kingston Bagpuize overcame leaders Bledlow Ridge by three wickets thanks principally to a couple of fine individual performances.

Martin Shepherd (76) and Matthew Warner (41) saw them to 195-7 with 7.3 overs to spare after Warner had taken 5-41 to restrict Ridge to 194 all out.

Daniel Murphy (52) was the only Bicester & North Oxford player with anything to smile about after they lost by six wickets at Bledlow Village.

Matthew Pearce (3-40) and Mark King (3-66) helped bowl out Bicester for 159, then Charlie Downes hit 83 and Olly Woodward 37 in Bledlow's 163-4 from only 32.5 overs.

Dinton 2nd made 180 from 47 overs at home to Cropredy thanks to Neil Spicer (61) and Fred Cripps (40), Michael Cappelluti taking 3-28 and James Coleman 3-39.

Cropredy should have had 53 overs to attempt the run chase, but rain reduced their innings to 46, which meant Ed Somerton’s 62 was not enough as they closed on 163-6.
