Oxfordshire's boys and girls teams both finished third in the latest round of the Ten & Under County Cup.
Their girls line-up of Laila Zugic, Lois McNulty, Grace Tully and Imogen Hunt lost against Middlesex and Herts at Oxford Sports.
But they beat Gloucestershire 6-2 and edged home 5-4 after a shoot-out against Bucks.
At Halton in Bucks, Oxon’s boys’ team of Oliver Broadhurst, George Slater, Connor Ferguson and Jamie Redfern lost to Hertfordshire and the host county.
Buy they fought back, beating both Gloucestershire and Middlesex 6-2 to secure third place.
Meanwhile, Saffy Gujral, from the host club, was runner-up in the 12 & under girls’ singles at the Henmans’ Solicitors event at Woodstock.
