RADLEY’S Tara Kafke won a silver medal at the England Athletics Championships in Birmingham.

Kafke clocked 55.10secs to finish second in the ladies’ 400m, having won her heat in 54.95.

The 23-year-old will now compete in the Olympic Trials in Birmingham from June 22-24.

Radley’s Ashley Johnson finished eighth in the 110m hurdles final in 15.10, but ran 14.82 for third place in his semi final.

Despite being an under 20 athlete, Radley’s Emma O’Hara threw 51.83m to finish eighth in the ladies’ hammer.

Rosie Kingston (Radley) clocked 16.33 for fifth place in her 100m hurdles heat, while run-up problems meant Dan Johnson could record only 5.84m in the long jump.
