PAT Bryan hit 81 and Joe Harris 71 not out as Challow & Childrey 2nd closed on 214-5 in their derby with Didcot.

Ian Demain then made 45 against his former club, and Simon Pritchard (38), Javed ul Haq (35) and Henry Brisland (32) kept Didcot in the game.

But Harris (5-35) and Dan Alderson (3-35) combined to bowl them out for 196 with ten balls to spare.

Jordan Ford hit a fine 106 not out and Mike Howe-Davies chipped in with 55 in Abingdon Vale 2nd’s 229-4 at home to Tiddington 2nd.

The visitors crawled to 137-6 with Matthew Johnston undefeated on 50. Joe Butcher took 3-36 for Vale.

David Eaton took 7-31 as Horley sent Brackley to 131 all out. Michael Lowe hit 50.

Dave Clark creamed 64 in the visitors’ 132-5 from 33 overs.

Robbie Cooke (78) and James Earnshaw (41) helped Horspath 3rd reach 210-8 against Banbury 4th, Andrew Stevens taking 4-62.

Barry Grant then hit 38 and Hassan Ahmed 30, but Banbury fell away to 153 all out as Earnshaw took 4-17 and Tom Murray 3-34.

Banbury lost the five points they earned on the field for failing to provide a scorer off it.

Thame Town 2nd’s Alastair Thomas hit 41 and took 3-41, but still finished on the losing side at home to Kimble.

Sam Agace claimed 3-29 in Thame’s 122 all out.

Bradley Rose (47no) then steered Kimble to 126-6.
