Former Oxfordshire paceman Jack Brooks enhanced his England claims on his home ground of Northampton as the Lions dismissed the West Indian tourists for 147 on the first day.
Brooks, who began his cricket at village side Tiddington, returned figures iof 13-7-23-3 and said afterwards: “There’s always a bit in it on this deck for the seamers.
“But we bowled very well as a unit today, and got our rewards.”
