LEADBITTER Oxford Academy can win the Oxon, Berks & Bucks Colts League Division 1 title if results go their way.

Last week’s 35-7 victory over Chinnor means second-placed Oxford go into their final match three points behind leaders Amersham & Chiltern.

Oxford, who are playing in the league for the first time, will target a bonus-point win at home to Redingensians on Sunday and hope Maidenhead beat Amersham, but then lose their final match.

Hooker George Tierney led the way against Chinnor with two tries, while centre Jack Crowe, wing Alex Ashby and fly half Josh Sissons also went over.

Sissons kicked two penalties and two conversions, with Chinnor grabbing a late converted try.
