WITNEY maintained their outside hopes of finishing third by squeezing home 22-20 at Marlow.
Marlow took the lead on 16 minutes with a penalty from centre Miles Noble.
On 25 minutes, No 8 Jonny Wolfe raced over for a try from the tail of a line-out, with Noble converting.
Witney finally got going with flanker Carl Campbell crashing over on 33 minutes.
The visitors came out fired up for the second period and scrum half Gareth Campbell harried his way to a try converted by wing Phil Gouldie.
Despite having wing James Monks sin-binned on 53 minutes, Witney excelled with 14 men as Gareth Campbell set up Gouldie for try No 3.
Marlow hit back with Noble converting his own try, then slotting a penalty.
Two minutes into injury time, Marlow had their loose-head prop Tom Kanchanawat yellow-carded, and a minute later, Gareth Campbell seized on a loose ball to feed flanker Tim Muller for the winning try.
Noble had a long-range penalty to snatch the match, but his kick fell short.
