Consistent Andy Benwell won the latest round of the Predator Spring Carp League, fished by 18 anglers at Bishops Bowl, near Leamington Spa.

But it was a close-run thing and only one good fish separated the top three.

Despite bright conditions and a hard frost, the venue fished well, Benwell (Predator) using the long pole and paste to catch 46.6.0 of carp and tench.

Runner-up Craig Partridge caught 45.12.0 of carp and tench on long pole and pellet, followed by Tony Wright (Predator) with 42.0.0, using the same tactics.

Partridge has caught the biggest fish of the series so far, at 9.8.0.
