ARDLEY United will be trying to finish on a high note, following two devastating defeats ended their hopes of winning the Premier Division title.
On Tuesday, Kevin Brock’s side lost 4-2 away to third-placed Shortwood United, which followed Saturday’s 7-1 humbling by leaders Oxford City Nomads at Court Place Farm, who have moved out of Ardley’s reach.
And it does not get any easier for the long-time leaders over Easter, with away games against Slimbridge and Thame, tomorrow and on Monday respectively.
Abingdon Town are away to Henley Town tomorrow and entertain Witney Town on Monday.
Rhys Denton remains a doubt, but Ollie Lynch returns to squad.
Sixth-placed Easington are the visitors as Headington Amateurs enter the last month of a disappointing Division 1 West campaign.
The reigning champions have slipped into the bottom three and face a tough finish Although James Brown, Tommy Allen and Aftab Hafiz are away, Craig Morbey and Jay Hill should be back alongside James Luckett who has completed a long suspension.
