Description, trained by Alan Hill at Aston Rowant, is set to go on a retrieval mission as a centenary of racing at Kimble, near Aylesbury, is celebrated with the Kimblewick Hunt meeting tomorrow (1.30).
The ten-year-old won in good style between the flags earlier this season, but has since fallen on his last two starts under National Hunt Rules at Haydock and Newbury.
Hill has a choice of the ladies’ and men’s open for the gelding as he attempts to get him back on track.
The Aston Rowant trainer usually fields a strong team at the fixture, and this year looks no exception with More Trouble, Start Royal, Ravethebrave, Sarahs Gift, Bon Accord, What’s Up Doc and Fly Direct among his other entries.
Penmore Hill, an impressive winner at Kingston Blount last month for trainer Fred Hutsby, would be a leading fancy if taking his chance in the confined, where his rivals could include the formerly smart chaser Gidam Gidam.
