OSMAN Muskwe broke two Radley AC club records when competing in their open graded meeting at Tilsley Park in Abingdon.

Muskwe, competing in the senior men's competition, won both the discus and shot put with Radley record throws of 42.39m and 13.02m respectively.

To round off his day, Muskwe showed off his versatility by winning the 100m hurdles in 16.91secs.

Muskwe’s training partner Jordan Dorrian broke the club’s under 20 long jump record with 6.35m.

Another three-time winner was Radley’s Tara Kafke, who won the senior ladies’ 100m, 200m and 400m.

Bicester’s Edward Burgess also claimed a hat-trick, finishing first in the under 17 boys’ races over 100m, 200m and 100m hurdles.

There were also 100m and 200m sprint doubles for Banbury Harriers duo Leigh Watson and Heidi Brooke-Little in the under 20 men and ladies’ categories respectively.

From the younger ages, Radley’s Callum Rowe won the under 13 80m hurdles and 800m. In the same age group his clubmate Harvey Weinberger took the 100m and 200m races.

James Breslin won the under 15 hammer with 16.27m and threw 7.38m to claim second in the shot put.

Under 17 ladies Lois Waknell won the 100m by less than a tenth of a second, but Georgina Sunderland had a far more comfortable victory, taking the 300m hurdles by a clear three seconds.

Clubmate Katherine Wood-cock won the discus by five metres and was second in the hammer.

Hayley Perrin won the high jump and long jump and came third in the 80m hurdles.

Alex Parker triumphed in the under 17 100m and long jump, while Joe Finch won the triple jump.

Emma O’Hara took a double in the field, winning both the under 20s discus and hammer.

Abingdon Amblers’ Paul Rice showed early promise when he secured first place in the senior 800m event in 1.59.50, matching the club’s record, which is held by Paul Egerton.

Abingdon’s squad also fared well, with Fiona Bunn winning the under 15 1500m in 5mins16.71secs, while Nicholas Magrane landed the under 17 200m title.

Oliver Stacey starred for Witney Road Runners, winning the under 13 long jump title and finshed runner-up in the 100m and 200m.
