ELLIOT Harvey, the promising ten-year-old driver from Didcot, finished third in the final of a cadet meeting at Whilton Mill, near Northampton.
In the three heats, Harvey (pictured) came second, tenth and first to qualify fourth on the grid for the final.
Here he had a clean start and held on for third behind two of the top Super 1 drivers from last year.
Harvey’s next race will be at Forest Edge near Andover this weekend as he continues his build-up to the Super 1 Championship at Whilton Mill, which will be held in April.
