Three goals up inside the first 13 minutes, Headington Amateurs went on to record their biggest win of the season when beating visitors Hook Norton 6-0 in Uhlsport Hellenic Division 1 West.

Liam Morbey opened the scoring after six minutes, netting from close in after Aftab Hafiz saw his first effort blocked.

Three minutes later, Hook Norton’s defence failed to deal with Harry Jenkins’s long clearance and Luke Cuff rounded keeper Joe Murrell to score.

Shell-shocked Hooky went 3-0 down when Jay Hill scored with a near post header from Shaun Jacob’s cross.

A period of relative calm followed before Cuff made it 4-0 in the 32nd minute.

After Jamie Wyatt missed a great chance for Hooky, Hafiz scored twice in the last 20 minutes to complete a great day for Amateurs.

Carterton appear to be turning the corner with a second success on the bounce, this time a 5-1 win over fellow strugglers Malmesbury Victoria.

An own goal set Carterton on their way plus two goals from Jason Francis and further strikes from Josh Harris and Adam Lee.

Old Woodstock Town won 1-0 at Trowbridge Town, Lee Prpa scoring the goal.

Abingdon United Res won 2-1 away at Finchampstead in the second round of the Supplementary Cup, with Aaron Andrews and Chris Baker the first on target for the victors.
