JASON Bowers felt his Chinnor side came on strong in their victory over Exmouth.
Head coach Bowers said: “We were a bit rusty in the first half and took a little bit of time to settle into our patterns.
“Once we did that, we looked as good as we have done all season.
“Their ten played well in the first half, but when we turned round, we sorted out our defensive strategy and he couldn’t do as much.
“Once we got into our stride, we played some of our best rugby against what I feel is the most improved side in the league.
“That is a big five points for us.”
