More evidence of the ever-increasing size of our chub comes with this picture from Dan Coulling.
The Oxford angler tempted his personal best of 6.10.0 from the Thames at Sandford.
Conditions were hardly ideal, with bright sunshine and a temperature of -3 at 11am!
The fish took a boilie fished with a groundbait feeder, and put up a good scrap on 8lb line and 6lb hooklength.
