Didcot Barramundi’s relay teams won two gold medals at the Oxfordshire & North Bucks County Champion-ships in Bletchley.
The same four boys – Edward Burrows, 14, and 13-year-olds Oliver Ripley, Ricky Martin and David Murphy – triumphed in the 13-14 years 4x50m medley and freestyle events.
Further success for Didcot came in the nine-ten year age group where Benji Beard, Cameron Beeton, Freddie Wilkinson and Olivier Mew won silver medals in both the medley and freestyle relays.
The club’s medal haul was completed by the 11-12 years A team of Oliver Beard, Alec Purvis, Christopher Motha and Matthew Taylor collecting a bronze in the medley relay. Beard, Purvis and Taylor were joined by Jack Shayler in coming fifth in the freestyle.
, Oliver Ripley, 13, gained a regional qualifying time in the 1500m freestyle.
