Ashton regained the outright lead in Division 1 of the Gentworks Oxford & District League with a 3-0 win at Oxford Bowls.
Pete Fenn (+60) started the ball rolling, beating Terry Gripe (+100) 200-139.
Callum Vinall (+70) continued his winning run, against Peter Astall (+100) 150-75 with a break of 32.
Terry Chambers (+20), of Ashton, won a tight exchange 200-98 against John Williams (+50), who missed an easy cannon for game.
Oracle, who led Ashton on just points difference, slipped up when they lost 2-1 to Riley B.
Matty Bramall (+50) of Oracle, won the first game 150 -121 against Roger Tomlin (+80).
But Riley’s Ian Knight (+80) ran riot with some inspired potting to beat Lee Pratley 150-66, while Bob Hayward (+80) won a tight decider for Riley 150-142 against Gordon Cook.
