JOE Mabbalena bagged a brace as Carterton fought back to draw 3-3 with Brackley Athletic Jaffas in the Under 13 A League.

Jordan Marshall fired Brackley ahead and although Ryan Stockford equalised, Adam Budd and Charlie Wright fired Jaffas 3-1 ahead.

But Mabbalena’s second-half double salvaged a point.

Tower Hill Stars went down to a 3-1 defeat at Yarnton Blues in the B League.

Sam Britnell lobbed Tower Hill in front.

But a second-half revival saw Yarnton stun Stars and take victory, with goals from Lloyd Belcher, via a penalty, Will Hawtin and Charlie Pieton.

Ben Wright’s double helped Carterton defeat Highfield Juniors Colts 5-1 in the Under 15 B League.

Liam Aspey, Liam Morris and Ryan Stevens grabbed their other goals, with Highfield’s Harry Card replying.

Luke Stacey hit a hat-trick for Bampton Town as they beat Eynsham Youth 6-0 in the Under 14 B League.

Goals from Josh Davies and Matt Pilkington saw Bampton take a 2-0 lead before Stacey made it 3-0.

He then doubled his tally with a header.

Parker hit a fourth, before Jake Pritchard hit No 5.

Stacey then completed his treble from the penalty spot.

Arun Oakes fired a powerful equaliser as Charlton & District drew 1-1 with Launton Boys in the Under 12 A League.

Launton had gone ahead via Harvey Buckland-Webb’s deflected shot.

Carterton Colts eased to a 3-0 victory against Highfield Juniors in the B League.

After a goalless first half, George Meyer nodded a long kick over the keeper and Travis Cozier slotted in Carterton’s opener.

Meyer doubled their lead before substitute Aiden Chester sealed their tally.
