ALCHESTER captain Dan Kimber is looking on the bright side after being ruled out for a month with a neck injury.

Kimber suffered whiplash and muscle damage during his side’s 48-12 defeat at Beaconsfield in Southern Counties North on Saturday.

He was stretchered off and taken to hospital, but released after checks.

“I will be out for a good month,” said Kimber.

“It could have been worse. I was panicking when I couldn’t feel my head initially, but I am slowly on the mend.”
