Oxford United Ladies have been drawn away to Manchester City in a dream FA Women’s Cup third-round tie on Sunday, February 5.
United reached this stage with a 2-0 win over Lewes at Roman Way on Sunday, with goals from Ellie Roberts and Holly Pickett.
City came through thanks to a thumping 9-1 victory over Leeds City Vixens.
The tie will be on a adjoining pitch to the Etihad Stadium.
Oxford United Ladies coach Richard Blackmore said: “It’s a fantastic draw for us and a reward not just for the hard work that went into the win, but also for all the hard work that has gone into the previous months and years.
“The game at Manchester will be our sixth game of the FA Cup so far, so we have already come a long way, and we will go there knowing we have nothing to lose.”
