Tony Capaldi came through 80 minutes as an Oxford United side took on Bristol City in a behind-closed-doors friendly yesterday.

Capaldi has not played a game for Oxford since joining from Morecambe in the summer.

Adam Chapman played 90 minutes to continue his return from a broken foot, while striker Matt Fletcher also came through the entire match, which Bristol City won 5-0 thanks to goals from David Clarkson (2), Yannick Bolasie, Bobby Reid and Henry Muggeridge.

DEFENDER Ryan James, who joined United in the summer from the Nike Academy, has left the club after his six-month contract came to an end.
