ABINGDON Vale have been promoted to West Midlands Division 1 of the Arena League after finishing second in the Division 2 final.
There were individual club records set by Niall O’Leary in the open 100m backstroke and Michael Esnouf in the 100m breaststroke.
Sisters Anna and Catherine Kirk shone for Wantage White Horses in the Bracknell & Wokingham Level 3 Gala.
Anna, 12, won gold in the 100m backstroke, silver in the 200m individual medley and bronze in the 200m breaststroke, while 14-year-old Catherine took silver in both the 50m and 100m backstroke.
