Abingdon Utd 3

(Kingsbere 48, Collier pen 50, 75)

Stourport Swifts 2

(Campbell 10, Willetts 55)

Sam Collier capped his double with a stunning winner as Abingdon United beat bottom club Stourport Swifts in Evo-Stik Southern League Division 1 South & West at Northcourt Road.

With the two sides locked together at 2-2 with 15 minutes left, an Abingdon centre was cleared to Collier 35 yards out, and he hammered it back past statuesque keeper Haydn Whitcombe with aplomb.

Abingdon had fallen behind after Curtis Angell brought down Danny Campbell in the penalty area in the tenth minute, and the Stourport striker got up to bury the spot-kick.

Abingdon equalised in the 48th minute with Adam Kingsbeer smashing a shot over Whitcombe into the roof of the net.

Within two minutes, Abingdon were ahead through a Collier penalty after Sam Packer was pushed.

Jamie Willetts headed home a corner in the 55th minute to level, before Collier had the final word.
