Milton United, in desperate straits at the bottom of Division 1 East in the Uhlsport Hellenic League, have been boosted by five new signings.
Manager Shaun Smith has snapped up young strikers Frankie Hayes and Kyle Allsworth, from Saxton Rovers and Abingdon Town respectively.
Also signing this week is a Leroy Maumbe, fromjunior football.
The club welcome back for Milton stalwarts Paddy Malone and Paul Davis, the latter after a serious knee operation that will keep him out until Christmas.
Smith said: “I’m confident that Kyle and Frankie will be first team regulars for many a year.
“They both know where the net is, scoring a lot of goals between them last year albeit, in North Berks football, but at their age – 20 and 19 respectively, they have no fear.
“Also on a positive front, Ross Tabor is back in training and should be ready to play within the next three weeks. So things are really looking up.”
