Abingdon United’s poor run in Evo-Stick Southern League Division 1 South & West continued with a 3-0 defeat at Gosport Borough last night.
Despite dominating much of the game, Abingdon failed to take their chances, and fell beind in the 15th minute when Callum Laycock netted.
Abingdon conceded a soft penalty in the 83rd minute with Justin Bennett going down under a challenge by Ricky Allaway, and Adam Wilde scored from the spot.
Bennett raced through two minutes from time to score Gosport’s third.
