A late try from replacement Tom Cook ensured Bicester beat Littlemore 19-7 in the BB&O Premier Division.

Bicester, who also had three tries disallowed, took the lead when centre Dave Hampton broke through several tackles to cross on the left, No 8 Dan Spencer converting.

Scrum half Crag Smith fed Spencer for their second, the latter converting.

Littlemore hit back when openside flanker Darrell Rendall went over for fly half Lee Gillett to convert, but Cook’s try denied them a losing bonus point.

A late rally could not stop Gosford All Blacks losing 50-12 at Stow-on-the-Wold, who led 43-0.

Gosford finally woke up with tries from wing Tommy Newell and fly half Harry Sutton, wing Tim Ellis converting the latter.

Despite leading 18-10 at half-time, Didcot lost 60-18 against Aylesbury Athletic in the BB&O Championship, Ronnie Booth scoring two tries and Steve kicking the other points.
