Lewis Collins ran in a hat-trick of tries and Ed Mitcham kicked 18 points as Witney hammered High Wycombe 53-11 in South West 1 East at Hailey Road.
Witney turned on the style for a seven-try hammering that saw them rise to sixth in the table.
Wycombe took the lead with a first-minute penalty, but Mitcham soon levelled.
On 13 minutes, wing Collins beat a series of defenders to touch down his first try, Mitcham converting for a 10-3 lead.
A second Wycombe penalty reduced the arrears, then scrum half Gareth Campbell scored under the posts after some football skills from flanker Marc Copperwheat.
Mitcham converted this and a charge-down try from centre Henry Lamb, with a penalty in between ensuring Witney led 27-6 at half-time.
A huge miss pass from fly half Pierre Dubost created Collins’s second try, which saw him break three tackles en route to the line.
His hat-trick arrived soon after following a pass from skipper Jez Hicks (pictured), Mitcham converting.
Witney had replacment prop Jamie Burke sin-binned before Wycombe managed a consolation try on 72 minutes.
There was still time for Campbell’s second try after a defender spilled Dubost’s up-and-under and a final score from Burke, Mitcham converting both.
