Headington Amateurs had to come back from 2-0 down at half-time deficit before scraping through 3-2 after extra-time at home to Woodcote/Stoke Row in the second round of the Oxfordshire Senior Cup.
Toby Newell and former Oxford United defender Ross Weatherstone scored for the Reading Senior League side.
Woodcote were still 2-0 ahead with 12 minutes left, but two goals in a minute from Headington’s Craig Dean and Luke Cuff took the game into extra time, when Yannick Nkwanuo’s effort clinched it.
Lyle Gifford’s strike and Pete Horswell’s deflected goal gave Letcombe a 2-1 win at Barton Rovers in the third round of the Berks & Bucks Intermediate Cup.
Barton’s reply came from a Luke Stone own goal.
