ANTHONY Martin scored twice as Vale of White Horse Schools made hard work of beating Swindon 4-2 in the ESFA Under 15 Trophy third round at Milton United.

Robbie Cundy nodded home Owen Shaw’s corner after four minutes, and when Martin headed in No 2 Vale looked set for an easy victory.

But a low cross hit Luke Thorne and deflected into his own net, before Milad Behsodi equalised for Swindon early in the second half.

Martin restored Vale’s lead with a chip over the advancing keeper, and Sam Barder’s last-minute header clinched it.
