After hauling themselves back int o the game in the second half, North Leigh conceded two late goals to return empty-handed after losing their Evo-Stik Southern League Division 1 South & West game at Bideford 3-2.
Bideford, who held the upper hand in the first half, took the lead Adam Lonsdale’s slip on the greasy surface let in Matt Andrew.
The already depleted visitors, who lost full back Sam Parish with a leg injury, levelled just after the break when Brian Bowles struck home from John Mills’s centre.
Stuart Hole went close for The Millers before Matt Bye restored Bideford’s lead ten minutes from time, before Andrew headed home to make it 3-1.
Hole scored a penalty for North Leigh late on after he had been tripped.
