CHIPPING Norton Town maintained their four-point lead at the top of Division 1 with a 2-0 victory over Witney Royals Res on Saturday, writes ANTHONY BARLOW.

Warwick Tompkins and Shaun Weller scored the goals that keep Royals rooted to the foot of the table.

West Witney retained second place after an emphatic 5-1 victory at Aston.

Ady Holder led the way with a brace, while Keith Frendo, Chris Hirons and Karl Dodds were also on target.

Darryl Kew hit back for the home side.

A Ross Harrington own goal was all that separated Hanborough Res and Brize Norton, Brize running out 1-0 winners.

Stanton Harcourt and AC Finstock shared the points in a 4-4 draw.

Andy Jackson and Ian Law bagged braces for Stanton, with Justin Keyani (2), Darren Tasker and Sam Bowers replying.

The points were also shared at FC Mills, who hit back to snatch a 1-1 draw against Minster Lovell.

Eddie Dunn fired Minster into the lead, but Chris Panter replied for Mills to earn a share of the spoils.

Ducklington Res and FC Nomads took a point apiece in a goalless draw.
