REIGNING Premier Division champions Hanborough fell to a 2-0 defeat at Spartan Rangers, who moved up to second place in the process.

Dave Cross and Andrew Shaw scored Spartan’s goals.

FC Chequers remain undefeated, following a 2-0 victory at Charlbury Town, Shaun Rayfield and Joe Hewer on target.

Promotion chasing Free-land A slipped up at Middle Barton, crashing to a 4-1 defeat.

Jack Eaglestone, Shane Probitts, Ashley Scearce and an own goal saw off Freeland, for whom Ady Williams scored.

Milton took full advantage of Freeland’s slip, and moved into second place after comfortably seeing off Brize Norton Res 3-0.

Roger Jones, Harry Lake and James Beaney all got on the scoresheet.

Witney Wanderers also lost ground on the leaders as they fell to a 3-1 home defeat against Bampton Town.

Jack Green scored a brace for the visitors with Dan Cartwright adding the third.

Tom Gregory netted the home side’s goal.

In Division 3, Eynsham SSC returned to winning ways with a 7-0 thumping of Kingham All Blacks Res.

There were seven different scores for Eynsham, with Stu Fathers, Dan Clifford, Ashley Bowerman, Chris Leach, Jonathan Hall, Matt Walker and an own goal making up their tally.

Leaders North Leigh B were held 2-2 at Carterton Pumas.

All the goals came in the second half, with Darren Davenport and Kieron Lace netting for the home side.

Pawel Bronk replied with a double for North Leigh to secure a share of the spoils.

FC Hollybush picked up their second win of the campaign, beating Minster Lovell Res 4-1.

Eddie Brookes (2), Sean Spivey and Darren Aston scored the goals.

Chipping Norton Res pulled themselves out of the drop zone with a 4-1 win at Tackley.

Carl DeFraitas scored for the hosts, but Dan Scarsbrook (2), Justin Morgan and Paul Akers netted the winning goals for Chippy.

Tom Faulkner bagged a brace as leaders Freeland B beat struggling Combe Res 4-0 in Division 4.

Richard Stanley and Matt Hardy scored the others.

Corinthians ended Cart-erton Rangers’ winning streak, earning a valuable point in their 2-2 draw with their hosts.

Frank Webb and Dan Killick put Corinthians into a 2-0 half-time lead, but strikes from James Barker and Craig Williams ensured Carterton at least remained unbeaten.

FC Mills Res took a well-earned point from their 3-3 draw at Carterton B.

The visitors netted through Kieron Durrant (2) and Gavin Jewell.

Matt Herbert, John Smales and Chris Jones had given Carterton the lead.

Wychwood Foresters eased to a 5-2 victory over Eynsham SSC Res.

Their goals were shared between Martin Webb, Ian Read, Mark Read, Kevin Webb and Simon Gibbs.

Sean Rowbotham and Lee Parsons (penalty) replied for Eynsham.
