SAM White struck twice as Crowmarsh Gifford continued their unbeaten start to the Division 1 season with a 4-1 win over local rivals AFC Wallingford, writes PHIL ANNETS.

Andy Allum and Liam Strudwick also scored for Crowmarsh, who closed the gap on leaders Saxton Rovers, with Mike Fellows replying for Wallingford.

Wootton and Dry Sandford returned to winning ways and ended Long Wittenham Athletic’s unbeaten record with a 3-1 away success, thanks to a Tom Srawley double and a Tom Cooke effort.

Adam Bailey scored a late consolation for Wittenham.

Didcot Casuals put their poor start firmly behind them with a fourth consecutive league win, thrashing early pacesetters Benson AFC 5-0, with Ross Tyler (2), Fletcher Hoey, Laurence Hoey and Neil Tonner on target.

Also winning 5-0 were Childrey United, with Tom North, Alan Haines, Ben Eltham, Joe Ledbury and Dan Crawford all on the scoresheet against Harwell Village.

Kintbury Rangers ran out 5-2 winners in their basement battle with Drayton, Paul Fox, Rob O’Hagan, Tom Smallridge, Ross Lamonby and Mark Heywood on target.

Dan Johnson and Luke Wheatley replied for Drayton.

East Hendred are still yet to taste victory after a 2-2 draw at Harwell International.

Richard Wells and Lewis Monaghan were on target, with Kris Gray and Steve Molloy netting for the home side.

Sutton Courtenay are the new Division 2 leaders after a 3-0 victory over Marcham.

Steve Pitson scored twice, one a penalty, alongside a Sam Childs strike.

A David Murphy double moved Berinsfield joint top following their 2-1 win over Lambourn Sports Res, for whom James Keller scored.

Shaun Bray’s brace gave Steventon a similar success against Benson Lions, with Kelvin Biles replying.

Chris Hunt also scored twice for Ardington and Lockinge in their 3-1 win over Saxton Rovers Res.

James Bishop netted their third, with Josh Carter replying for the visitors.

Dorchester remain top of Division 3 following an emphatic 8-0 demolition of Didcot Casuals Reserves.

There were doubles for James Stimpson, Jamie Fleet and Danny Brind, with Scott Hemming and Billy Warner also on the scoresheet.

Goals from Andy Goodchild, James Hicks and Dan Gunston gave Wantage Town A a 3-2 win at Kintbury Rangers Res to stay level on points with Dorchester.

Andy Sturdivant and Rob Denison scored for Kintbury.

A Richard Evans double and a Marcus Richards strike gave Coleshill United a 3-0 win over Stanford in the Vale.
