Kidlington Green Social Club twice fought back as they reached the George Pegram Cup final with a thrilling 4-3 victory against Cowley Workers.

The Kidlington side won the opener when John Russell beat Phil Cook, hitting two legs of 11 darts each, only for Workers to storm into a 2-1 lead, thanks to wins from Dyzio Slezak and Wayland Honour.

Lee Russell restored parity when he defeated Simon Powell 2-2.

Workers then restored their lead when Lyndon Richards got the better of Steve Wright.

However, Green Club were not to be denied, with victories from Marcus Wright and Andy Brown completing the turnaround to set up a meeting with Rileys Social Club in the final on Friday, November 18 at Rover Social Club.

Premier League champions Rileys reached the final after crushing Section Five outfit Cricketers Arms A 4-0. Peter Hall, Nick Cobb, Aaran Stevens and Ade Larner were the victors for Rileys.

Green Club had reached the last four with 4-2 success against Witney Snooker Club.

Andy Brown gave Green Club the lead against Martin Bull, only for Ian Moss to level when he edged out John Russell 2-1, with a 100 check-out (20-40-40).

Green Club then took a 3-1 lead, thanks to wins from Lee Russell and Steve Wright.

Witney cut the arrears to 3-2 when Bob McNamee defeated Marcus Wright.

But Mick Hodges defeated Darren Steele to seal victory.

Workers reached the last four by edging to a 4-3 success against Rose Hill Community Centre.

Rileys made the semi-finals after a 4-0 win against Nuffield Lounge, with wins from Stuart Dutton, Jon Jukes, Nick Cobb and Aaran Stevens.
