BURWOOD Freddie, probably Oxford’s most prolific hound on the open scene this year, added another £500 to his prize money when the Johnny Mayo-trained dog won the Swindon October Monkey on Wednesday.
- THERE was a welcome boost for trainers Ron Bicknell and Steve Rayner who topped the winners last weekend with seven victories each, which should give the kennels a timely lift.
Rayner’s Droopys Prince completed a hat-trick to top off the weekend.
- THE next Owners and Trainers Association presentation evening is Thursday, November 17.
There will be a concerted effort from the racing office to track more greyhounds that belong to members of the association.
- TOP stayer Sudden Decision can put his flying finish to good effect in a competitive S1 over 595 metres tonight.
