CHARLBURY A beat Preston Capes A off the last ball in a thrilling finish to their contest in Division 3 of the Banbury Indoor League.
Capes scored 99-5 from their ten overs, thanks to an unbeaten 55 from Mark Daynes.
However, he was to finish on the losing side as cool innings from Tom Nash (27no) and Tim Lowe (26no) saw Charlbury home for the loss of only two wickets.
Broughton needed only six overs to surpass Deddington’s 97-6, losing one wicket in the process.
