Round-up

WING Patrick Siret grabbed a try treble as Gosford All Blacks saw off Princes Risborough 45-0 in the BB&O Premier Division.

Gosford should have taken the lead through replacement Cameron Woods, but he overran the ball.

However, flanker Eugene Griffin pounced from the resulting five-metre scrum to touch down, Tim Ellis converting.

From the restart, Gosford sent Tim Sutton racing over in the corner.

Siret soon notched his first try, followed by one from Ellis, who converted both.

Ellis repeated the trick after the break, then Siret completed his treble, Ellis converting the former.

Bicester bagged their first win of the season, with a 21-10 success at basement boys Stow-on-the-Wold.

Stow led 10-0, but Bicester ran in three second-half tries.

Stow centre Nick Cafearo picked up to score an easy opening try, soon followed by a second from flanker Hugo Griffiths.

No 8 Dan Spencer got Bicester up and running with two penalties before half-time.

Flanker Anthony Nightingale was driven over for Bicester to put them 11-10 ahead.

Stow missed a good chance before prop Tom Horwood and fly half Adam Spencer sealed the win.

Harwell made it three wins from three in the BB&O Championship with a 25-0 success at Didcot.

They led with an early try from Jamie Cantwell, while a penalty by John Froud-Davis and Mark Baker’s score made it 13-0 at the break.

In the second half, Harwell’s greater penetration brought tries for Joe Pigott and John Deverteuil to secure a bonus point, Aiden Robbins converting the latter.
