OXFORD City Stars player-coach Ken Forshee is targeting two wins in this weekend’s English National League South Division 1 double-header.

Stars visit Bracknell Hornets today and then host historic rivals Bristol Pitbulls at Oxpens Ice Rink tomorrow, with face-off at 6pm.

Forshee said: “This is a big weekend, the goal is for four points playing against two teams who will be competing against us for play-off spots and higher positions in the league table.

“We are all are hungry for points – Bracknell see the game as their first opportunity to win.

“Sunday will be a very exciting game between two evenly-matched teams whose rivalry is even greater than last year because three of our guys are now with Bristol.

“The Pitbulls are now much improved, eager to redeem themselves after missing the play-offs last season.”
